PwC's Academy training course covers the basics of one of the world’s best-known project management methodologies - PRINCE2 (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) .

PRINCE2 Foundation is the basic certificate of the PRINCE2 project management methodology. During our 3-day training course, participants will master PRINCE2 principles, processes, and terminology that can be applied to large and small projects across various sectors. They will learn how to prevent unnecessary cost increases and avoid excessive administration, and work systematically and in teams.

Who is it suitable for: 

• Junior and senior project staff
• Managers responsible for the implementation of strategic goals
  
• All project team members, including the client
  
• Consultants implementing the methodology (project management principles)
  

The PRINCE2 Foundation course is suitable for all team members who wish to participate (directly or indirectly) in a successful project implementation.

Unlike other methodologies, this course does not require prior qualifications. It is open to all applicants looking for an effective way to systematically manage large and small projects. A key advantage is that the methodology is general and applicable to all project types and specialisations and is the most widespread standard. Previous experience in project management will make it easier to understand the methodology, but is not essential.

Certificate:

The validity of the PRINCE2 Foundation certificate is for 3 years even if the methodology is updated.

The certificate is issued in English, irrespective of the language in which the PRINCE2 Foundation exam is taken. It does not specify the individual’s score in the final test. The certificate is often used as an official confirmation of a successful completion of education by project managers for public procurement.
