PwC is proud to announce a new Partner in Serbia
Congratulations to Branko Popovic, our new Partner who has reached an exciting professional milestone, and is joining PwC CEE Partnership in July 2022. We are proud of the progress we are making in fostering a diverse partnership, and in upskilling talent in Central and South East Europe, where Branko is playing a key role.
While focusing on leading SEE Consulting Financial Services Practice, together with other PwC partners, Branko will continue driving the Firm’s strategy, strengthening trust and delivering sustained and tangible outcomes for our clients and stakeholders throughout the Balkans.
Branko is now a PwC Consulting Partner, based in Belgrade and will continue leading the local Consulting Team as well as our Financial Services Consulting Practice in South East Europe (ex-Yu, Bulgaria, Albania). He will focus on further strengthening PwC’s position in the market as a leading 'strategy to execution' partner for banks & corporates across SEE while further expanding the team of exceptional individuals, ready to successfully deal with most complex strategic, digital & transformational topics.
Branko has 20 years of professional experience (Serbia, Montenegro, Ukraine, Italy, Germany, across Europe) and strong organisational and project management skills. His areas of expertise include: overall strategy (re)design, smooth & speedy bank integrations, commercial & digital strategy & transformation, bank & non-bank partnerships with an end-to-end strategy to execution approach.
He studied at the University of Belgrade (Serbia), Universitaet des Saarlandes (Saarbrücken, Germany) and Bocconi University (Milan, Italy), where he received his MBA diploma.
